Abstract

|
목적: 본 연구는 간호사의 인공심박동기 환자에 대한 지식과 교육요구도를 파악하는 연구이다.
방법: 연구대상자는 서울 지역의 2개 대학병원에서 심혈관 관련 부서에서 근무하는 간호사 100명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구는 인공심박동기에 대한 지식과 교육요구도 측정을 위한 도구를 사용하여 시행된 횡단적 서술 조사연구이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, 퍼센트, 평균과 표준편차, t-test와 ANOVA 등으로 분석하였다.
결과: 인공심박동기에 대한 간호사의 지식은 근무부서(F=3.32, p=.014)와 임상경력(F=2.85, p=.042)에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 인공 심박동기에 대한 교육을 받은 간호사들이 그렇지 않은 간호사에 비해 인공심박동기 시술 후 나타날 수 있는 합병증에 대한 지식수준이 높았다(t=3.45, p<.001).
결론: 인공심박동기 시술 후 환자가 일상생활에 적응하기 위해서는 퇴원 교육이 매우 중요하다. 병원에 근무하는 간호사를 대상으로 인공심박동기 교육 프로그램을 개발 시 간호사의 근무부서와 경력을 고려할 필요가 있으며 인공심박동기에 대한 최신 지견을 반영해야 한다.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine nurses’ knowledge levels and educational needs related to an artificial pacemaker.
Methods: Participants were 100 nurses working in cardiovascular departments from two university hospitals in Seoul. This study was a descriptive study using a survey for estimating knowledge levels and educational needs related to an artificial pacemaker among nurses. Data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 program using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, and ANOVA.
Results: Nurses’ knowledge levels were significantly different depending on working units (F=3.32, p=.014) and years of clinical experience (F=2.85, p=.042). Nurses who received education about an artificial pacemaker were higher in the knowledge level of complications after an implantation procedure (t=3.45, p<.001) than nurses who did not receive the education.
Conclusion: Discharge education is critical for patients with artificial pacemaker implantation to go back to their daily activities. When developing artificial pacemaker education program for hospital nurses, factors such as nurses’ working department and years of clinical experience years and updated information of an artifical pacemaker need to be considered.
